Birds The major species of birds found in this area are a white heron in summers, and a bean goose, a white-fronted goose, a Chinese goose, a wild duck, a spot-billed duck, a pochard, a sheldrake, a pintail, a dunlin, and a gray plover in winters. And there are 22 endangered species in need of protection here. This is one of the very important places with most number of rare species inhabit, and, thus, it needs preservation and protection of the natural environment.
	Also, many other rare species are found here. Since so many migratory birds pass here, a number of rare birds are observed here, and it is a very important intermediate spot.
