  The Stone Buddhist is produced by making the border in a sheet of granite then foresee the face, pleats of clothes and etc. The production period is not known.

The head is expressed bigger compared to the body and top of the head & physical world were simply expressed. The Buddhist priest's robe is penetrating the symmetry. A few people are Buddhist sermon preachers. The existing height is 260cm. There is a mark of filling of the hollow of the bullet mark with cement, during Korean War. It is located in Unjang-ri, Cherwon district in Gangwon province, which is northern region of the civilian control line. Taking the expression of the large head, the Buddhist statue is estimated to be from the Goryeo period. Even it's impression method is not refined, it is simple and humorous piece reflecting the folk of the Buddhist statue sculpture.
