Among the cultural assets, the proportion of the ancient tomb and the main relics excavated from the tomb occupancy is absolute. Especially, you cannot talk the culture of three kingdoms with out the ancient tomb. It is the academic reality that the material, social economic and spiritual reconstruction of prehistory and ancient time are made based on the ancient tomb and it is the cultural asset, which we can be closed commonly and easily. The nest ancient tomb found is the stone chamber tomb that is the tomb culture of the plain rectangular of square shaped greave room inside the grave hollow that was digged. This stone chamber grave is valued to be the tomb of the Shilla as shilla crockery was found in it. As the crockeries excavated were mostly made in 7th century after the era, the construction time of the tomb is the end of period of three kingdoms.

Like the above-mentioned fact supports the fact of King. Shilla in his 12 years (55) attacked Han River valley with Baekje and occupied and sat the spirit tablets up in this area. And such fact directly confirms that the civilian control zone became the Shilla's territory at the end of 6th Century. Relation to this, it is interesting that the Gyeongseon royal tomb was found in the civilian control zone out of Gyeongju area. The civilian control zone was the a strategic place where Goguryeo and Baekje went into heated offensive and defensive battle during the period of three kingdoms. Especially, it was the region where the Goguryeo had defense and offense over and over again and Shilla took it over lastly, as shilla take over the Han River valley so that all the three kingdoms cultures are fused in the area. This can be noticed through hillforts, Odu hillfort, in Paju, Horugoru hillfort in Yeoncheon and Duckjin hillforts in Paju are the main examples. Horugoru hillfort in Yeoncheon and Duckjin hillforts and Paju are the defense installment situated in the northern coast of Imjin River and it is guessed that the Odu hillfort, in Paju was the Gwanmi castle of Baekje and presently the unification observatory are situated on the top of the mountain. Sites related Gungye in the civilian control zone and the area around are the Cherwon Hyanggyo, that is known as the reconstruction of the house lot of Wanggeon, Seongmaru castle, Cherwon that was the military horses stud farm, Bogyesanseong in Pocheon known as the final decisive battle place, the Seongdongrisanseong where Gungye drew his water from and etc. The sites discovered in DMZ are reported to be only Gungye's capital city and Jeogolchong This showes there was not active study in this area. And yet Poongcheonwon, chulwon where Gungye built his capital city, it is impossible to believe only remain there is the castle. A lot of cultural site related to the capital city would be still remaining around. It has not only been explored in the world because of the inactive study till now.
