What is DMZ Peace Forum?
 
   
  Hosting Background
- As a place of discussion created in 2007 in order to discuss the formation of social agenda and policy development related to DMZ by Gangwon-do
- The main objectives are extending the base for peace and unity through peace domestic and foreign prominent figures along with the research activity using the specialists in various social circles related to DMZ.
   
  Main Functions
- Preservation and development of values on the natural environment of DMZ to discuss the effective plan to use the resources through research activity with specialists of various areas including environment, tourism, culture, peace and press media, etc
-Accumulate the data related to DMZ and through this, derive pending issues and coping plans. Draw interest of domestic and foreign prominent figures to extend the base of peace and unity
   
  Forum Organization - Organized as 「Elderly Advisory Council, Operation Committee and Secretariat」
